Getting 258 kids back to school with everything they need.
Back to School Fund
Every year, we show up. This year is no different.
Every year, MetalMorphosis Charitable Foundation runs a Back to School drive for children in our education outreach program. These are kids who would not have access to education without this program - and every year, we make sure they start the school year with the essentials they need to to show up and learn.
This year, we're helping 258 kids get back to school. That's the most we've ever supported at once.
These aren't numbers on a spreadsheet. They're real kids, from kindergarten through 12th grade, whose families are part of our outreach community. And this year, we're especially proud - because we've just celebrated our third university graduate from the program. Three kids who started where these 258 are now, and made it all the way through.
THE NEED
258 kids. $40 each. $10,320 total.
The cost to cover one child's back-to-school essentials is $40 USD. That gets them:
2 school uniforms
A backpack
All the books, stationery and supplies relevant to their grade
1 pair of shoes
For all 258 children, we need to raise $10,320.
HOW IT WORKS:
Local businesses. Bulk buying. Every dollar working harder.
We partner with local businesses in our community to supply everything these kids need. That means every dollar you donate does double duty - it gets a child ready for school and it puts money directly into the local economy.
Because we buy in bulk, we get the best possible price on everything. No middlemen, no markups. Just shoes, backpacks, books, and uniforms - bought locally, at the best price, and put directly into the hands of kids who need them.
MORE THAN SCHOOL SUPPLIES
Education is just the beginning.
Every family in our education outreach program is eligible for additional support beyond the classroom. That includes:
Free or subsidized food
Medical assistance
Transport assistance for families who need help getting their kids to school
When we say we're getting kids back to school, we mean all of it - not just the supplies, but removing the barriers that keep them from showing up in the first place.
